PyWrapper has recieved financial support from a number of different sources.

• GBIF funded the first version of the TAPIR PyWrapper (=version 2.0) as a proof of concept during the development of the TAPIR protocol.

• The current PyWrapper code is very much based on the BioCASe Provider Software that was developed during the BioCASE project.

• The Synthesys project has funded the creation of the ConfigTool for PyWrapper through the Networking Activities D.
