We Need Your Help!

There are many ways in which you can become involved in the pywrapper project. Even if you are not a programmer, there are ways that you can benefit from PyWrapper and ways to help make it more useful to yourself and others.

You can also find out what's going on in the community by browsing the mailing lists, where PyWrapper users and developers share information about the project and discuss freely and openly.

User Feedback

To make PyWrapper better, we need user and developer feedback. Even if you're not a programmer, bug reports, ideas and suggestions are more than welcome.

For bug reports, feature request and feedback, we recommend filing a new ticket in the issue database. Please login with user=pywrapper and password=pywrapper to be able to submit tickets.

Code Contributions

Naturally, contributions in source code form are more than welcome. Please post patches by submitting a new ticket for review and merging.

If you want to add support for your DBMS to PyWrapper take a look at ticket:16.

If you need an idea of what to code, take a look at the active tickets {1}. For a bigger involvement see report:10 that lists the major missing components of PyWrapper.

If you think you should have write-permission to the code repository, please contact javi or markus directly.

Financial Support

To speed up the roadmap or include additional facilities into the PyWrapper software, financial support of our developers is of course always welcome. Feel free to contact the main developers directly to ask for currently free development capacities.

To get an idea of what needs funding, report:10 lists the major missing components of PyWrapper.
